Turkish Coalition of America - is an educational, charitable organization that works to foster friendship, understanding, and cooperation between the United States and Turkey. It also works to promote and advance the interests of Turkish American community and Turks. The TCA has programs in the following areas in order to fulfill its mission: public education, cross-cultural exchanges, legal defense, etc. The TCA would like to have up to two interns in its Istanbul, Turkey office. Interns will be working on organizing and preparing welcome kits for the American delegation, conducting research, and will be allowed to participate in meetings. Interns will have free time to explore and enjoy the historical city of Istanbul. For more information on the organization, click here

Turkish Cultural Foundation - its mission is to support the preservation and promotion of Turkish culture and heritage worldwide, through original programs and cooperation with like-minded organizations. The Turkish Cultural Foundation's Branch was formally established as a foreign foundation office under relevant Turkish laws in October 2005. It oversees the foundation’s grants and projects in Turkey. TCF hopes to build cultural bridges between Turkey and other countries to support a better understanding and appreciation of Turkish cultural heritage. TCF is looking for 4 to 6 interns to help edit English texts, post TCF photos to their website, prepare welcome kits for participants, and participate in some meetings and sightseeing with the participants of the Teacher Study Tours. Turkish Women’s Initiative - was established in 2008 in California as an intercultural endeavor to promote the empowerment of Turkish girls and women through the implementation of innovative, community based programs. TWI has just launched the “Changemaker Leadership Program” at two universities in Turkey including Bogazici University. TWI is looking to host up to two interns for a project in Istanbul for TWI that will be based at Bogazici University. Interns will be working on a project for TWI with Bogazici University and will be helping the organization explore the possibility of creating an on-going exchange between Bogazici University and Santa Clara University on an annual basis.
